Jennifer Aniston says she 'loves being the boss'

Dubai, July 18 : Jennifer Aniston, who takes on the role of an aggressive and intolerable boss in her latest film, has admitted that she loved the whole experience of being in charge.

"I love being the boss. I actually love the directing experience," Gulf News quoted her as saying. 


"Having been doing it [on small independent films] for as long as I have, while acting on the other side, I felt like it was fun to discover how much you actually know. 


"Though I haven't gone to a film school of any sort, there's just a certain instinct I have from being around it for so many years. 


"So I enjoyed it and I think I was a very nice boss in fact," she added.

London, July 12 : Jennifer Aniston has said that she feels more 'sexier and confident' in her 40s than she did in her 20s.

Speaking before the UK release of 'Horrible Bosses', she also claimed men feel threatened by "sexually confident women".

"I get more confident in my body, and who I am, as I get older, way more than when I was in my 20s," the Mirror quoted her as saying.

"I was just so awkward and uncomfortable," she added.

Washington, July 12 : Jennifer Aniston's 'Horrible Bosses' co-star has admitted that he was astonished at how convincing she was in the role of a sexually-aggressive dentist in the movie.

Charlie Day plays Dale, an employee the subject of Jennifer's character's advances.

"I think people will get a kick out of seeing her play a character who's as far from safe as you can get, or tame, she plays it so well. I was shocked, but I have to be in the role," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

While Day enjoyed his role in the film as one of three friends who plot to kill their nightmare employers, he admits some of the best scenes went to the bosses, portrayed by Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey because their antics were so outrageous.

Freedom at 40 for Aniston

London, July 9 (IANS) Actress Jennifer Aniston feels she has more freedom at the age of 40 as she no longer cares what people think of her.

The 42-year-old actress admits she worried more about how she would be judged in her twenties, but now has more freedom to enjoy herself, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I think getting older means you get more comfortable in your body and in your skin and who you are and you have more of a 'I don't care' attitude," said Aniston.

"Now, I think there's just more of a freedom and a comfort and none of it really matters as long as you're enjoying yourself and having a really good time. You're so careful and controlled in your twenties and you're just more aware of your every move," she added.

Washington, July 9 : Jennifer Aniston''s boyfriend, actor Justin Theroux, has told her that he loves her, it has been revealed.

 The ''Horrible Bosses'' actress - who started dating Justin Theroux last month after first meeting him on the set of ''Wanderlust'' last year - was accompanied by the actor to her official hand and footprint ceremony at Grauman''s Chinese Theatre yesterday, where he confessed his feelings.

"Jen and Justin were cuddled up together before she was taken away for the ceremony. They were away from the cameras and they hugged and kissed for a few seconds before Justin said, ''Congratulations, I love you!'',” Contactmusic quoted an onlooker as telling HollywoodLife.com.

"She didn''t say I love you back but she gave him a big kiss in return and then had to hurry away,” the source added.

It was the  heartbreak  heard ‘round the world when Brad Pitt ditched Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie back in 2005, and Jennifer recently told press she took refuge in her work.

The “Rumor Has It” babe, who is now happily attached to actor Justin Theroux, explained that her film “ The Break Up ” starring Vince Vaughn was key in helping her get back on her feet.

Aniston noted, "It was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up...You know, I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue. I honestly felt like, what a great way to sort of exorcise some of that."

She added that the film’s producers were hesitant to offer her the role given her recent divorce. "I was like, why not? Turn the page, let's move on. I enjoyed it! You'd think otherwise."

Washington, July 7 : Despite racy trailers and persistent rumors of a topless scene in the movie 'Horrible Bosses', Jennifer Aniston will not be going topless for her role as a sex-obsessed dentist.

Aniston plays a bad girl who sexually harasses her assistant, Charlie Day, and eventually blackmails him. 

"I have no idea where those rumors started, but its a good rumor," Fox News quoted Aniston as telling the Chicago Sun-Times. 

She also dismissed speculation that a topless scene could appear on a DVD. "Not true at all...Where do these things start?" she added. 

The movie comes out July 8.

Jennifer Aniston is 'picky' about relationship

New York, July 3 : Jennifer Aniston who is dating actor Justin Theroux has admitted that she is really choosy when it comes to relationship.

The actress said that love rarely happens and it happened to her only twice in the past 10 years.

"I'm really picky; when I feel it, I feel it. It's rare that it happens. In the last 10 years, it's happened twice ... there are all sorts of things that are going to be happening in the near future, so I'm excited," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling People mag.

"I don't know what they are, but that's the fun part," she added.

Jennifer Aniston avoids junk food

Jennifer Aniston stays slim by avoiding junk food.

The 'Horrible Bosses' star insists she doesn't stick to a strict diet to maintain her stunning figure and just limits her intake of fatty meals. 

She said: "I've never been a fanatic when it comes to what I eat. I've always discovered that I can stay fit by avoiding junk foods and eating healthily, while running or exercising regularly. I don't have any formula." 


The 42-year-old actress' favourite exercise is yoga and she works out every day because she feels more energetic after working out. 

She revealed to new! magazine: "I love to do yoga. I have more energy if I can do workout for 20 minutes every day. If I exercise enough I can eat what I want and not worry about my weight or how I look. If I put on a few pounds, I just eat more fish and salads for a week and exercise four or five times a week as opposed to two or three times. The important thing is to stick to a healthy routine. I feel better after a good workout and it gives you more energy for the entire day. I try not to worry or stress about things anymore ¬ I just like to get on with my life."

London, June 28 : Actress Jennifer Aniston feels honesty is the key to make a relationship work.

The actress, who is dating actor Justin Theroux, admits that it is important to be able to talk openly and honestly to one's partner in order for love to last, contactmusic.com reports.

"You need to talk to each other and you have to say what you want. You don't confront your man about things which you're not happy about, you approach it in a much more constructive way. You never want to be in an adversarial situation where it's you versus him," she told new! magazine.

The actress, who was previously married to actor Brad Pitt, insists she doesn't "waste time being negative" and tries to be optimistic at all times.

"It's important to live openly and with hope; I try to be open and look forward to tomorrow. I consider myself a very optimistic and positive person," she said.

"It's so easy to find things to worry about or complain about and I've learnt over the years that you don't need to waste time being negative. Having a good conversation over a bottle of wine is about as magical an experience as you can have when you're in the moment and allowing yourself to enjoy things," she added.

Jennifer Aniston sells Beverly Hills estate for '37 or 38 million dollars'

New York, June 28 : Jennifer Aniston has sold off her luxurious Beverly Hills estate for ‘37 or 38 million dollars’.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the ‘Just Go with It’ star had been negotiating with Big Apple realtors before finally selling it off.

Realtor sources told the Times that though it was earlier listed for 42 million dollars, it sold for 37 or 38 million dollars, reports the New York Daily News.

It could however take months before the sale becomes a public record and the exact price is known.

The actress reportedly spent two years renovating the nearly 10,000 square foot estate, which was built in the 1970s.

London, June 26 : It has emerged that Jenifer Aniston could not take her eyes off her boyfriend Justin Theroux as he sat in the front row of the audience while she was taping 'Inside the Actor's Studio' in New York City.

Her number one fan seemed to be mesmerized too, as 42-year-old actress took the stage in a black, knee-length pencil skirt, reports the Daily Mail.

She combined it with a matching three quarter-length sleeved top and matching Christian Louboutin heels.

While sharing her experiences with host James Lipton, she was spotted flashing plenty of smiles and knowing glances in 39-year-old Theroux's direction.

Aniston met Theroux last autumn when they shot the film 'Wanderlust' together, and the pair made their first public outing at the beginning of June at an awards ceremony after-party in Los Angeles.

41-year old actress Aniston may opt for either adoption or surrogate mother.

“Jen has been weighing up all her options, everything from using a surrogate to finding a suitable sperm donor. She’s determined to go full steam ahead with becoming a mom,” a source told National Enquirer. “Jen sees this as the perfect time in her life to have a child. Right now, she prefers the idea of adoption, but using a surrogate like Sarah Jessica Parker did is also a possibility. And single mom Sandra Bullock has become a kind of role model for Jen since she adopted her baby a year ago.”
